i didn’t spend nearly enough time reading as i would have liked. i only got around to:

- hunger games by suzanne collins

- catching fire by suzanne collins

- mockingjay by suzanne collins

- whisper falls by toni blake

- city of bones by cassandra clare

- city of ashes by cassandra clare

- city of glass by cassandra clare

- something borrowed by emily giffin

- anna karenina by leo tolstoy (okay, so this took me FOREVER, i just happened to finish it at the start of the summer)

- harry potter and the sorcerer’s stone by jk rowling

and i’m currently trying to finish off one day by david nicholls before the movie comes out. let me tell you, you can totally tell it’s written by a man. and not in that endearing sort of way that you can instantly pick out a nicholas sparks book. i like it, it’s just really really really really different from the other, albeit girlier, books i’ve been reading this summer. 

basically i’m just disappointed in myself and my lack of time management because i had this huge list of books at the beginning and it’s just going to irk me to no end that they aren’t read over the school year. but, i would recommend every single one of the books that i read though. they were all wonderful. anyway, i’m probably going to keep posting what i’m reading, because it helps me keep my head straight.
